A battle to the death

I am tired.
Every day since the Obama administration took office it seems I'm always on the defensive, ducking for cover from the daily volleys of changes to this, changes to that. I'm an out-of-shape fighter, and having trouble bouncing back from each new threat to my country, to my personal freedoms. Who are these people, these "liberals," these "Lefties," these Democrats? Is Obama really a "socialist"? A "Communist"? Mr. Obama has an agenda, to be sure, and for the most part is keeping all the promises he made ... too bad the only ones who were paying attention to his campaign promises were the conservatives - but I digress.
Everyone has an opinion about what motivates the members of the Democratic party. They claim their only wish is to make the U.S. a better place for everyone, to feed all the hungry, to make sure anyone who wants to buy a house can buy a house, make all the other countries in the world love and respect us, and so forth. But the means to accomplish their agenda is a hair shirt that I'm tired of being forced to wear. My theory is a little different, and right now, and for now, it works for me:
The Obama administration is more authoritarian than anything [Note that "authoritarian" is one of the names that the Liberals like to use to describe Right-Wing Bible-thumping Christian Conservatives].
Obama and his Lefty followers have this ingrained belief that we on the Right are trying to control them not with Law or Rules but rather with conservative values and principles. Make no mistake, I believe they have the right and the freedom to live how they wish so long as I am afforded the same opportunity. But these values and principles are to the Liberal mind like bonds that they can't escape and they are being tortured in their grip.
I can remember myself saying, "People should be able to live the way they want...
"The Liberal mantras are, for example: LIVE AND LET LIVE! (Used to be one of my personal favorites)
IT'S NOT FOR ME TO SAY HOW YOU SHOULD LIVE YOUR LIFE! (Another oldie but goodie)
They - the Liberals - have become like wild animals - striking out, attacking instinctively, anything that threatens them. I also believe they are frightened because they have nothing to fall back on but their own will to survive; there's a gap in their reason, they no longer care about co-existing in a "civil" society; it's not civil as long as there are rabid conservatives trying to shove their restrictive values down their throats. Liberals have to stop anyone who could threaten them with the imposition of standards to live by - someone else's, to be sure - values to uphold, principles by which to judge others. There seem to be more and more bonds to break by any means possible. I don't mean to imply that conservatives cannot act like wild animals. It just seems to be an analogy that fits liberals better than conservatives.
Judging is a crucial issue with Liberals. The Bible seems says that we are not to judge, "lest we be judged," but is that really what God meant? I don't think it's a reasonable interpretation in as much as God expected us to live in the Garden of Eden and obey the one rule (don't eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge) He also gave us free will from that very first day here. But how would we know if we behaving the way God wanted us to if we weren't allowed to make judgments? After the Apple debacle Adam and Eve made a judgment, they knew somebody screwed up because God sent them packing. Reason and Judgment - both cut from the same cloth but can only one of them can be worn at the same time? Me thinks they can both be worn, simultaneously.I believe Liberals are motivated by fear and that's what warps their reactions to those who disagree with - or judge - them. I believe it's why their attacks are usually so over-the-top, so intensely damaging, so brutal, so blood-thirsty. Their lives depend on annihilating the opposition - without actually killing it. (They can't actually kill because then somebody would go to prison.) Liberals cannot afford to be reasonable when they are in a battle to the death.
